Master Technology Teacher Certification
The Master Technology Teacher Certification Program (MTTC) is to ensure that all Texas students and educators have an individual whose major focus is to teach with technology and technology integration strategies and to serve as a mentor to other teachers. A Master Technology Teacher certificate is obtained by successfully completing the program and passing the SBEC Texas Examinations for Master Teachers Technology certification examination (TExMaT).
In addition, the prerequisite MTTC Pre-Preparation course assesses prior technology applications knowledge and skills.

- Upon completion of the MTTC Pre Preparation course, you will be knowledgeable of what TA skills are required for a Master Technology Teacher and if you have those necessary skills to move forward in the ESC 11, MTTC online program. This course is developed with the expectation that you will already know how to operate a computer with proficiency, browse the Internet and have a basic knowledge of all of the Technology Applications 8-12. You need to be a self-directed learner that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
