Participants will learn all about the different digital classroom resources provided by ESC Region XI - OnePlace, DE Streaming, World and I School, and Teaching Books- as well EBSCO and Britannica provided by the state. Participants will also learn many different strategies for integrating those resources into lessons and activities across the curriculum.

Participants will learn how to incorporate author programs, book guides, and book readings into classroom curriculum. TeachingBooks.net and other online resources will be used. Secondary level will be covered in this online course. Two online discussion/chats with authors will be scheduled.
This collaborative online project will involve using the comprehensive online EBSCO and Encyclopedia Britannica packages for the new K-12 TexShare Program. You will learn to access multiple databases simultaneously through the different interfaces. There's an interface for every level! The course will be self-paced over two weeks. Participants are encouraged to collaborate on the projects and post them online using Web 2.0 tools.
Develop fun and exciting activities to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday and reading! A wealth of resources will be introduced, including using state-provided databases. In this two-week, self-paced online course, you will participate in the National Education Association's annual reading motivation and awareness program, Read Across America, that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on or around Dr. Seuss' birthday in March. Participants will share their collaborative projects online using Web 2.0 tools. Librarians and teachers from all grade levels are encouraged to collaborate on this project and then implement it during Reading Awareness Month in March.
